#Truth

The truth is defined as the real facts about something, the things that are true.

The Bible is the Word of God - the Truth of God's Word. It is everything we need for life and living. It is filled with His Precepts - God's Truth's about how I am to live my life according to His standards. And that includes the foods I consume in this body, the temple of the Holy Spirit.

The truth is - do I see myself as God sees me, as He created me to be or I am allowing myself to be defined by others? As Lysa states in Chapter 7 - I will not be defined by numbers on a scale. We have to fill our hearts and minds with God's words. God's truth is the foundation of my identity.

Proverbs 23:-25 tells us that overeating, overdrinking and oversleeping result in poverty both spiritually and materially. It is the one who seeks God early who finds Him (Prov 8:17). We are to do whatever it takes to get truth, instruction, knowledge, and wisdom. it takes work but if we pay the price and don't give up, we'll be a source of joy to our heavenly Father as well as to our earthly parents. She girds herself with strength (spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for her God-given task) and makes her arms strong. This sounds like a work-out!

Nothing worth having or doing is always easy, it takes hard work and determination. Let's do this!

Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. Jeremiah 6:16

Advent Season

Advent Season started November 30th 2025 and ends December 24 th , 2025   Advent means the coming of Christ /period leading up to Christmas. It is the first season of the Christian Church year. On each of the four Sundays preceding Christmas, an Advent candle is lit. The 4 candles of Advent are Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace, representing the virtues Jesus brought us. The 4 candles are arranged on a circular Advent wreath, with no beginning or end, reminding us of the eternity of God's love and the everlasting love we find in Jesus.    Together the Advent candles are a reminder of God's promise to us of salvation through Christ.   The first candle purple -Hope(can be called the Prophesy Candle) symbolizes a shining light in anticipation of the coming of Christ and represents God's forgiveness of man's sins.   The second candle-Love is usually purple or violet. It reminds us of the Holy Family's experience in Bethlehem. This color is a...
