Ways to Become a “Masterpiece”

1. Understand we live in a messy world

a. Suffering accelerates spiritual maturity

2. Know that God is never far from us

a. Our disappointments are Appointments

3. Throw a party

a. God is concerned with our character not our comfort

Sometimes God sets us on an unexpected course in which we are asked to trust Him with every detail of the journey

God is worthy to be trusted & worshipped as we respond in obedience

Ephesians 1:5-6 (NLT) – God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. ⁶So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.

Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love…Psalm 107:21-22

Look for the Hand of God in everything!

JOY!

Thank You Lord for the joy that gives me strength. Definition if Joy - a feeling of great pleasure and happiness; emotion evoked by well-being, success or good fortune. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 “Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” Nehemiah‬ ‭8:10‬b‬‬ “You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Joy is something that goes much deeper than happiness. Happiness is a mental or emotional state. Joy is what causes you to be happy. Joy is the source of our strength according to God’s Word. That source is the Lord. God doesn't just want us to be happy. Advent Season

Advent Season started November 30th 2025 and ends December 24 th , 2025 Advent means the coming of Christ /period leading up to Christmas. It is the first season of the Christian Church year. On each of the four Sundays preceding Christmas, an Advent candle is lit. The 4 candles of Advent are Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace, representing the virtues Jesus brought us. The 4 candles are arranged on a circular Advent wreath, with no beginning or end, reminding us of the eternity of God's love and the everlasting love we find in Jesus. Together the Advent candles are a reminder of God's promise to us of salvation through Christ. The first candle purple -Hope(can be called the Prophesy Candle) symbolizes a shining light in anticipation of the coming of Christ and represents God's forgiveness of man's sins.
