Observe — Our theme this week is “You don’t have to be totally fearless, just more faithful.”

Bible — This week’s verse is – ”Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors. Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years...” Deuteronomy 8:1-2

Stretch – If you are going to pack your things and move out of the desert of shame, what is one specific change you need to make in the coming week? How will you begin on this journey?

All That is Within Me

If you are like me and have an iPhone, you've probably spent the last couple days trying to figure out all the updates. If you have more than one Apple device, such as an iPad, you've spent even more time updating it as well. Or maybe that's on your to-do list for today (or tomorrow). It's not a quick update, it takes a fair amount of time; then once you update, you've got to reset a few things. So, that got me to thinking, have I spent the same amount of time alone with God, reading His Word, reaching out to other believers, or witnessing to the lost? The end Christ aimed at in preaching this farewell sermon to his disciples: That in him they might have peace . He did n...
