Unashamed - Week One

Hi Ladies!

I’m so happy you’ve joined me for this study as Christine Cain leads us into God’s Word to find out how to believe that God is bigger than our mistakes, our inadequacies, our past, and our limitations. With Jesus we can step into a beautiful, full, life-giving future filled with purpose!

Scriptures which tell us over and over again what our real identity is — beloved child of God.
·       We were created by God because He wants to be in relationship with us. (Micah 6:8)
·       We are loved by Him (Psalm 136:26), chosen by Him (1 Peter 2:9), forgiven by Him (1 John 1:9), redeemed by Him (Romans 5:8).
·       God has good work for us to do with Him. (Ephesians 2:10)
·       He delights over us with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)
·       Our old life is gone. We are not the same anymore. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
·       We don’t have to perform by our own power because Christ lives in us. (Galatians 2:20)
·       He will never leave our side. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

What to Expect in This Study

In this study Christine shares with us some of her own stories that piled shame like bricks into her backpack. She also digs into biblical stories that may be familiar to some of you, but when we study God’s Word we’ll see these stories anew, with the richness and the beauty of the freedom Christ came to give us.

Shame has no place in God’s purpose, plan and destiny for our lives.

Jesus came to set you free from shame. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. - Galatians 5:1

My heartfelt prayer is that you too will discover the power of a life lived free. It’s the life God originally created you for, the life Jesus died to give you, the life you are worthy to live.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. - John 10:10.

Love & blessings,
Class Facilitator
