The Things I Did and Places I Went in September…
One my photographic goals is to get a half-way descent picture of
a nighttime rocket launch. This is the SpaceX Telstar 18 Vantage Heavy Rocket
launch taken in the early morning hours of September 10, 2018.
More work to be done.
Another goal is to photograph this tiny little bird in flight and
in focus. It’s called a “Kingfisher.” They are very allusive and do stay still
or in one place long. Always on the go! Not too bad but more work to be done
here too.
I participated in the Adobe XD Daily Creative Challenge again this
month and completed 8 out of the 9 daily challenges. There were no rules
this time…just have fun and be creative. Here's one of the XD projects I completed.
We went to Orlando and stayed at one of the Disney properties – “The
Boardwalk.” It’s a quaint little (big) hotel/resort. Every night they have a
fireworks show. One night the show was delayed due to rain and lightening in
the area. We I got back to the room, I discovered this hidden gem!!!

God has called us to be
co-laborers with Him in this world. He has given us varying gifts, talents, and
abilities to graciously ensure that we are up to the task He has called us to.
Our creative endeavors
and entrepreneurial efforts serve as conduits for God’s activity here on earth.
Our work is His work. God is using our work to demonstrate His truth, beauty,
creativity, goodness, and justice in the places He has called us to. It is all
to His glory, for our good, and to be a blessing to the world.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the
work of our hands for us – yes establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17 NIV
