Limitless Life

This post is part of the P31 Limitless Life Blog Hop! I am so excited to be part of the study. For my post I chose to Map this week's verse - Ephesians 2:22. "In Him you are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit."

Verse Map - Eph 2:22
God's mercy plucks us from the destruction of our countless sins and place us in Jesus Christ's righteousness.
Our bodies are now the Temple of God!
In God...He is where everything changes.

Courage: One Person with Courage is a Majority (Acts 4:10-13)
In Acts 4 we see courage on display in the life of Peter and John. These two leaders wer thrown in jail for preaching and performing a miracle (vv. 1-4). When their captors ask about their ministry, Peter boldly asserts that the name of Jesus, not their own talent, had healed the man (v. 10). He also explains that salvation comes through no other name (v.12). What accounted for this boldness? Not education, but his experience with Jesus (v. 13)
We all need courage to:

  • Seek the truth – you never find yourself until we face the truth.
  • Change – courage is the power to let go of the familiar.

  • Express convictions – convictions help us to stand alone. The test of courage comes when we’re in the minority.
  • Overcome obstacles. Expect trouble. Project courage.

  • Learn and grow – you haven’t learned until you step out, take a risk and do something new.
  • Take the high road – there is no traffic jam on the second mile.

Happy Mother'sDay!

Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Proverbs 31: 28-29
I invite you to read the entire story of the Proverbs 31 Woman or The Virtuous Woman or the "Good Wife" (not to be confused with the TV show!) in chapter 31 of the book of Proverbs, verses 10-31. The writer says very little about her outward appearance but is more impressed with her inner qualities and her outward actions, he did not notice her looks.
The description of her ends with the testimony of those who knew her best: her children and her husband. Her children blessed her for their early training as they grew up and went out into public life.
Wishing each of you a wonderful day today and every-Day! Ladies you are one of a kind, in all the the universe there is no one else like you! You are uniquely made by God! He has a plan and a purpose fo each of your lives. "Many women do noble things," said her husband, 'but you surpass them all." No one could give this woman great compliments.
I have receive plaques and letters from many public organizations but when the people closest to me and live with me day in and day out say I have blessed them, that to me is "priceless." When my children tell me I'm a great Mom or my husband tells me I'm a fantastic wife, ten thousand words from someone else means far less in comparison.
As you read the story you may think to yourself, this woman is perfect! I could never be like her! She was incredible, but God would not use her as an example of the "excellent wife" unless we, too, could grow to become like her.
As you look at praise given to her and learn about her inward character, you should be encouraged to remember she had grown children. Her inward qualities did not appear overnight but we hammered out in the trials of life as she trusted God and obey Him.
The key to her success was that she feared The Lord. The writer said, "Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain. But a woman who fears God is truly charming and lovely." The virtuous wife first and foremost feared and worshipped God. She was trustworthy, industrious, organized, loving, and much more. The key to becoming like this wife, to becoming a creative counterpart, is to beging where she did, with a vital relationship with God. Our relationship with God, is the key to everything we do in life.
May you and your families be bless with every spiritual blessing - may you be the Proverbs 31 Woman, Mother and Wife that God created you to be!! May you receive it in Jesus Name! Amen

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. – John 14:12

This is one of my most favorite scriptures, Jesus is calling us to do great things through the power of the Holy Spirit. We as Christ Followers aren’t suppose to lead ordinary lives and do ordinary things – we are so much better than that. We are suppose to live extraordinary lives and do extraordinary things.

By allowing God to work in our lives we can become so much better than we are. Jesus didn’t die for us to sit on the sidelines and watch the game – we are suppose to be in the game making a difference.

Greater = the life-altering understanding that God is ready to accomplish a kind of greatness in you life that is entirely out of human reach. Greater is a place where impossibilities cannot coexist with God’s promises! (Steven Furtick)

The Lord your God is with you…He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. – Zephaniah 3:17
