2014’s Top 10 Photos

Here’s the 10 photos that I selected from my 2014 catalog based on feedback/input from family and friends, a few contest winners and a couple of my favorites. I love the collage above - Family and Family Gatherings!

I read on a friend’s blog a few days ago that selecting your top 10 photos every year forces you to relive some of your most special moments of the year… many of which don’t end up as a top 10 photo. But you relive your year anyway by selecting your top 10. This is certainly true in my case. I have a lot a photos to go through to find just 10 but I gave it my best shot – no pun intended!

Picking your Top 10 Best Photos of the year not only forces you to look through all those digital images(thousands in my case) you have on your hard drive, it gives you such pleasure to relive those special moments. And there is an added benefit to selecting your Top 10. You can also see quite clearly what progress you have made year to year in capturing those special moments. And of course, realize the opportunities for new experiences and further skill development. That will be the fun part in the 2015 New Year.

Those are the Top 10 for 2014!

The Lord has promised "good things" to you and me in the days and years to come. He has promised to never leave or forsake us. I'm holding on to all His promises!

The Lord is with Me…

You are with me; Your rod an Your staff they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

"You are with me." Yes, you, Lord, are in heaven. Yes, you rule the universe. Yes, you sit upon the stars and make your home in the deep. But yes, yes, yes, you are with me.

The Lord is with me. The Creator is with me. Yahweh is with me.

Moses proclaimed it: "What great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us." (Deut. 4:7 NLT)

Paul announced it: "He is not far from each of us" (Acts 17:27 NIV).

And David discovered it: "You are with me." Somewhere in the pasture, wilderness, or palace David discovered that God meant business when He said: "I will not leave you" (Gen. 28:15).

God is always with you. How can this truth bring positive changes to your life as we be begin a new year?

Leave a comment - I'd love to hear from you.
