#Determination



Determination - Decide conclusively, fixed purpose, resoluteness, firmness of purpose. What is the goal? What am I trying to achieve? The answers to those questions will guide me in staying the course to finish the race and staying on course. It will take discipline & accountability on my part.

1 Peter 5:7-8 Cast ALL you anxiety on Him because He cares for you. Be self-controlled & alert. Be aware, keep your guard up. The enemy comes to steal, kill & destroy. God wants us to give all our burdens, insecurities to Him. We are never to give in to Satan or give up but we are to resist him in the faith.  (James 4:7)

Proverbs 31:17 (AMP) tells us to gird ourselves with strength (spiritual, mental and physical fitness for our God-given tasks. Our strength comes from the Lord and He wants us to rely on Him for everything.

Becoming a woman of self- discipline (and determination) honors God and helps me  to live the Godly character of self-control - emphasis added. (Lysa TerKeurst)

I am who God says I am and I can do what God says I can do! I am determined to do all that God has called me to do on this Life's Journey!

Arise! Shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! Isaiah 60:1

All That is Within Me

If you are like me and have an iPhone, you've probably spent the last couple days trying to figure out all the updates. If you have more than one Apple device, such as an iPad, you've spent even more time updating it as well. Or maybe that's on your to-do list for today (or tomorrow). It's not a quick update, it takes a fair amount of time; then once you update, you've got to reset a few things. So, that got me to thinking, have I spent the same amount of time alone with God, reading His Word, reaching out to other believers, or witnessing to the lost?
