Speak Up and Speak Truth

Today, as I was sitting in my Bible Study class the teacher said, “as believers we must 'Speak Up and Speak Truth.'" I thought to myself, how true is this; we live in a fallen world and if we don’t speak truth according to God’s Word, who will.

God’s Word is alive and does not return void.

Then I thought about Queen Esther and her words, “if I die I die.” What am I willing to die for? God wants to use me but am I willing? I have to be honest ladies and say not all the time. I don’t get to chose how God is going to use me, I just have to surrender and be willing. Ladies it’s not always easy, we have so many distractions. I can make a list a mile long and I’m sure you can too.

Let’s commit to be all that God wants us to be. To be that light shining in a dark and fallen world. To Speak Up and Speak Truth according to God’s Word. Let’s be ready and willing vessels for who knows that “you and I, too, have been chosen for such a time as this.

Advent Season

Advent Season started November 30th 2025 and ends December 24 th , 2025 Advent means the coming of Christ /period leading up to Christmas. It is the first season of the Christian Church year. On each of the four Sundays preceding Christmas, an Advent candle is lit. The 4 candles of Advent are Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace, representing the virtues Jesus brought us. The 4 candles are arranged on a circular Advent wreath, with no beginning or end, reminding us of the eternity of God's love and the everlasting love we find in Jesus.
