2020 - Year in Review

Isaiah 60:1 tells us to "Arise, Shine for our light has come, the glory of the Lord rises upon us." I love this verse, it's one of my favorites.

I don't know about you but 2020 has been a challenging year like no other that I've ever experienced. But we have the hope of Jesus, no matter what challenges we face today or in the future. I am blessed with a wonderful family and great friends - I am thankful and grateful!

Job 3:25 reminds us that what we believe draws what we believe to us. So what scripture are you standing on and believing God for? God constantly reminds me that He will never leave me or abandon me; to be strong and have courage. So to Arise that means I have to get up, keep moving forward and put my trust in God no matter what. His mercies are new every morning - He gives them generously over and over again.

God is faithful and His faithfulness never ends! His promises are Yes and Amen. For this I am grateful!

All That is Within Me

If you are like me and have an iPhone, you've probably spent the last couple days trying to figure out all the updates. If you have more than one Apple device, such as an iPad, you've spent even more time updating it as well. Or maybe that's on your to-do list for today (or tomorrow). It's not a quick update, it takes a fair amount of time; then once you update, you've got to reset a few things. So, that got me to thinking, have I spent the same amount of time alone with God, reading His Word, reaching out to other believers, or witnessing to the lost?
