Build a Best Yes Legacy
Ahh! I can't believe we are here — the last week of The Best Yes.
These weeks together have just flown by!
I feel like if you've made it these last six weeks of this study, you are a woman who longs for consistency with God. You make commitments. You follow through with them. Your journey through this study is a reflection of that.
But no one does this perfectly. Including me.
And one of my Best Yes decisions through this study is to be a woman who consistently experiences the power of God in my life.
"We want big directional signs from God. God just wants us to pay attention." -Lysa TerKeurst, The Best Yes
When my time with God is inconsistent, I make choices that don't make me the best me.
"Every day we make our choices. Then our choices make us." -Lysa TerKeurst, The Best Yes
So this week, I want to be a woman who finishes strong. I want consistent God-encounters during my day. And I want to live as our verses this week say … with firm steps.
Well, what on earth does it mean to "delight in God"?
I think we could over-complicate this thought or we could keep it really simple:
Do what pleases Him by keeping His Truth close.
When we delight in God we will:Do what pleases Him by keeping His Truth close.
Be able to discern what is best for us.
Make wise choices to help develop the best version of us.
Gain the confidence to believe we can live our Best Yes life.
We will stumble but when we are consistent with God, His hand will uphold us.
And I don't know about you, but that is a promise I want to hold tightly this week.
Let's be women seeking consistent encounters with God all week. I'm looking at my schedule right now and determining how I can best do this and I want to invite you to join me.
This Week:
1. This week we are reading through Chapters 16, 17, 18 and 19 and the optional reading in Proverbs 26-31.
2. Look at your schedule and "predetermine" when your Best Yes time with God is going to be this week.
3. Write down this week's verses or print off this week's graphic and focus on those words, "firm steps." What do firm steps look like for you?
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called – His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:18 NLT)
