The Best Yes Finale!


 
You guys, we have had the most amazing seven weeks together.

We’ve loved each other.
We’ve challenged each other.
We’ve prayed for each other.

And more than anything … together, we have grown closer to God.

The Best Yes hasn’t “just” been a book study for us. It’s been a real, gut-wrenching, soul-searching challenge to live our lives in a way that honors God in everything we do. Especially with our decisions.

I will never be the same. The Best Yes verbiage speaks throughout our homes. We say things like, “Is that your best yes?” “Can you say a small no?” and “I don’t want an overwhelmed schedule anymore.”


 

So ladies, its time to go and live our Best Yes lives! We have the tools, the wisdom, the encouragement and the power of Jesus in us to do so. I love you ladies and every day I wake up and can’t believe we get to do this thing together. This community truly is one of my Best Yes decisions.

Advent Season

    Advent Season started November 30th 2025 and ends December 24 th , 2025   Advent means the coming of Christ /period leading up to Christmas. It is the first season of the Christian Church year. On each of the four Sundays preceding Christmas, an Advent candle is lit. The 4 candles of Advent are Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace, representing the virtues Jesus brought us. The 4 candles are arranged on a circular Advent wreath, with no beginning or end, reminding us of the eternity of God's love and the everlasting love we find in Jesus.    Together the Advent candles are a reminder of God's promise to us of salvation through Christ.   The first candle purple -Hope(can be called the Prophesy Candle) symbolizes a shining light in anticipation of the coming of Christ and represents God's forgiveness of man's sins.   The second candle-Love is usually purple or violet. JOY!

  Thank You Lord for the joy that gives me strength.  Definition if Joy - a feeling of great pleasure and happiness; emotion evoked by well-being, success or good fortune. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23   “Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” Nehemiah‬ ‭8:10‬b‬‬ “You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Joy is something that goes much deeper than happiness. Happiness is a mental or emotional state. Joy is what causes you to be happy. Joy is the source of our strength according to God’s Word. That source is the Lord. God doesn't just want us to be happy.
