God's Promises

Psalms 138:8 The Lord will fulfill [his purpose] for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever — do not abandon the works of your hands.   God promises to fulfill HIS plans and HIS purposes for us   Exodus 2:23-25 During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. 24 God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. 25 So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.   Promise 1 – God sees Promise 2 – God hears   Genesis 15:16 In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure.   James 4:2 … You do not have, because you do not ask God.   Matthew 7:7-11 (NLT) “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and ...

Meditate on the Word

Jesus said, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. (Mark 1:17 ESV) God desires a real, authentic relationship with His redeemed people - you and I. When we let fear determine our course we deny God's faithfulness. We shift our focus from Him and turn to defending, promoting or planning for ourselves. Fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) and Faith can not operate in the same space. When we live in fear and worry, we are believing Satan's lies - that our God is not big enough to handle our life's challenges. Worry only robs rest from you. Jesus said,  “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 NLT Faith built on a foundation laid by God is: a God so loving one; He sent His only & only Son for us He repairs what was lost He rebuilds what was broken Let's walk in the Center of God's Will; we can know what His will is by daily reading and meditating on His Word. ...

Arise & Shine!

Arise & Shine! Like the Son!!! Experience the joy of the Lord!!! Be blessed and be a blessing!

Faith & Endurance

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.   For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.   So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4 A Spirit-filled life does not mean one that is problem-free. As Christ-Followers, filled with the Holy Spirit, we still make mistakes, have difficulties, and fall into sin. But we have two distinguishing characteristics that set us apart from other Christians and from unbelievers. First, we not controlled by our circumstances, and second, we refocus quickly after having sinned. When the Holy Spirit is in charge, our attitude will not be determined by what's going on around us. In other words, life doesn't have to be stress-free in order for us to know peace - our spiritual joy won't diminish even if we should meet with disappointment. Anyon...

Keep Circling

Hey all you Circle Makers! Hope you had a great weekend! This week we’re making our way through the final chapters of the Circle Maker. We are reading chapters 16, 17 and 18. We can have the best plans in the world, but often we need someone in our corner who is there to remind us. So, I’d like to encourage us to do TWO, yes 2, things this week: Call a Friend & Find an Accountability Partner Here’s our verse we’re focusing on this week; you can l ook up in your Bible or click and read here Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 .  In verse 9, we begin with: “ Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” Now look at WHY two are better than one: · Verse 10:   “If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” · Verse 11: “ Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?” · Verse 12: “ Though one...

You Are Called To Greatness

Christ wants us to do even greater than He did. John 14:2, 12 We need to allow God's Word to do a powerful work in us, that through us He can produce the kinds of things that we read in Scripture. We serve a God that is so much greater than anything we face. God hasn't called us to the life of settling for "good enough" - He called us to "Greater." Jesus cal us to a life that's greater, a life that relies on Him, brings honor to Him, glorifies Him and stretches us into the person God created us to be. You are called to greatness!!!

Greater

Doing what excites & delights “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. ” John 14:12 (NLT ) A Greater Lifestyle – stepping to an expanded lifestyle – Life Long Learner ·       If I stop making excuses I would not only be good but I would be GREAT!      Unapplied knowledge is useless Greater Flexibility – stretching your mental muscles – they need daily exercise.  Greater Freedom – travel light; don’t get too comfortable Greater Focus – travelling light helps us focus on The Mission Greater Urgency – will you get a lifelong relationship with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit! Greater Expectations – Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed. – Proverbs 16:3 Be blessed and be a blessing!

THINK

Think on These Things Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.  Philippians 4:8 (NLT) We should keep our minds & thoughts on things that encourage & build each other up.

Happiness

Give thanks to the Lord for the good things He has done. Great is the Lord and Greatly to be Praised! Steps to Happiness Decide to be happy... Happiness is an inside job Do not let others steal your joy You're in control Let go of judgments... Let-It-Go Make it a priority... Be Present and let go of the past... Tomorrow is not promised Yesterday is history   Be Grateful... There are others who would love what you have Give thanks to the Lord for the Good Things He has done! Thank God for Today! Dreaming

HAVE YOU DREAMED A NEW DREAM TODAY ?   Without vision  – dreams – imagination –  the people  DIE !!  Proverbs 29:18   The road less  traveled is never easy and the r e  a re  few if any traffic jams.   We are to keep dreaming until the day we die. You are never t o o old to go after the dream that is in  your heart . God is able to accomplish infinitely more than we can ask or think – more than I can ever imagine. Ephesians 3:20. Commit to the Lord whatever you do and all your plans will succeed. God will cause our thoughts to become agreeable with His will! (Proverbs 16:3)   Set Goals –  Goals   are dreams with deadlines . Whatever is good and perfect comes from God. (James 1:17) Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things (goals, dreams) will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)   When you pursue you dreams you set the  stage for others to p...

Goal List

Life Goal List I just wanted to share a few things from chapter 15 and I invite you to share what stands out to you in this chapter. I have so much highlighted and underlined, it’s hard to pick but here’s a few things that spoke to me… “The brain is a goal-seeking organism. (WOW) Setting a goal creates structural tension in your brain, which will seek to close the gap between where you are and where you want to be, who you are and who you want to become. Goal setting is good stewardship of your right-brain imagination. It’s also great for your prayer life.” Where there is no vision, the people perish. (Prov. 29:18 KJV) “Goals are the cause and effect of praying hard.” Without a goal, we will drift through life. We are in danger of becoming what Zig Ziglar calls “wandering generalities.” “…prayers naturally turn into goals, and goals naturally turn into prayers. Goals give you a prayer target.” “Setting goals is a practical way of dreaming big. If prayer is t...
